An ammunition depot for the multiple launch rocket systems of the Russian military was destroyed in the occupied Polohy town, Zaporizhzhia region.
The Russian invaders deployed an ammunition depot near the elevator in the captured Ukrainian town in Zaporizhzhia region.
Photos with the aftermath appeared on the page of the Russian propagandist from the Russian Television and Radio Broadcasting Company Olga Kurlayeva.
“Zaporizhzhia region, settlement of Polohy. Ukrainians partially destroyed the elevator with artillery fire,” reads the Russian propaganda caption to the photos.
The released photos show the destruction’s aftermath in detail.
One of the photos reveals destroyed missiles for the 122mm BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launcher near the elevator.
The other photos reveal trucks that were also demolished. The trucks were marked with the Latin letter “Z” of the Russian military.
Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine lasts for four months. All this time Polohy town in the Zaporizhzhia region stays under Russian occupation.
Polohy town is located mainly on the left bank of the Kinska River, the village of Voskresenka lies upstream, the village of Inzhenerne lies downstream, and the settlement of Polohy is on the opposite bank.
During July 20, the invaders did not conduct active hostilities in the Zaporizhzhia direction, but shelled the positions of Ukrainian defenders along the entire contact line.
Yesterday, the National Police received 28 more reports about the destruction of civilian buildings.
Russian weapons hit four settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. Ternuvate, Zarichne, Mahdalynivka and Komyshuvaha were affected.
