An unnamed benefactor from the United States transferred М1152 HMMWV sanitary vehicles to the needs of Ukraine.

According to Censor.Net, the vehicles were transferred by an anonymous billionaire and the founder of a global company from the United States.

Two new medical vehicles based on HMMWV were transferred to medic volunteers from the Pirogov First Volunteer Mobile Hospital.

“They are designed for combat use in their characteristics: patency, run-flat tires, durability, dimensions,” medics say.

Vehicles are already equipped with the necessary equipment, the availability of 12V power, 120 and 230V allows to connect any additional medical device.

Sanitary vehicles based on М1152 HMMWV have Burtek В4731 medical modules.

Each sanitary HMMWV can accommodate four wounded.

The passage between the beds is wide enough for two doctors to move without bumping into each other or stepping on each other’s feet.

“506 patients passed through our hands in May alone. Today it is already more than a thousand wounded, sick who have passed through the hands of our doctors. Over the period of the full-scale invasion, more than 100 doctors, nurses and paramedics joined the hospital,” says Svitlana Druzenko, PFVMH Deputy Medical Director.

As of 2021, the number of HMMWVs received by Ukraine from the United States under military assistance (and other programs) is currently at least 337 vehicles, and at least 5 vehicles have been transferred from Lithuania.

In 2017, the United States transferred 40 sanitary M1152 HMMWV vehicles to Ukraine.
