The soldiers of the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade ‘Kholodnyi Yar’ captured four Russians in the operational zone of the 19th Army Corps in the Donetsk region.

The 19th Army Corps reported on this.

According to the 19th Army Corps, the Russians attempted to infiltrate deep into the operational zone, where they were detected – some were eliminated. Out of nine enemy soldiers, four were taken prisoner and five were killed in action.

During interrogation, the captured soldiers stated that they belonged to the 132nd Separate Guards Motor Rifle Brigade (military unit 52892). The ages of the detainees range from 20 to 28 years old.

The enemy breakthrough occurred in the area of the settlements of Kucheriiv Yar and Zolotyi Kolodiaz. On a narrow section of the front, Russian units advanced approximately 15 kilometers deep into Ukrainian defensive lines.

From Kucheriiv Yar, the enemy moved through forest belts and reached the village of Vesele, where they are now concentrating forces. Over the past 24 hours, around twenty enemy infantry soldiers have been observed there.

As part of efforts to reinforce this direction, the 1st Azov Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine, has taken up a designated defensive line in the Pokrovsk sector. It is reported that the Corps’ units had planned and taken measures to block Russian forces in the specified area.
