The Ukrainian military has received H10 Poseidon Mk II drones from benefactors.

Two systems, which include a total of 6 drones, as well as two additional aircraft were transferred by Petro Poroshenko.

Poseidon UAVs have been transferred to the units of several brigades and will strengthen the capabilities of Ukrainian artillery.

During the transfer of drones, the politician met with graduates of the training center, where drone operators are trained, and where the third graduation of the Poseidon system operators was held.

“Today we are here at the training center, where the third course of Poseidon UAV operators is being held. We didn’t arrive empty-handed as usual. We brought several sharp eyes and strong wings to the defenders from the TDF battalion, artillery, tank, motorized infantry brigades,” Poroshenko said.

The military also received converted DAF Leyland trucks for control vehicles.

“I am grateful to the NGO “Sprava Hromad,” the authorities of Kryvyi Rih, Lviv philanthropists, who made this possible. And of course, the Poroshenko Foundation has traditionally doubled the amount,” Petro Poroshenko said.

The two transferred H10 Poseidon Mk II UAVs cost philanthropists 30,509,214 hryvnias.

“Today we released eight wings for hunting – two complete complexes for new brigades and additional aircraft for second crews of the brigades that received Poseidon in January,” said Yurii Biryukov.

Swarmly H10 Poseidon Mk II drones have an operational range of up to 150 kilometers, an altitude of up to 4000 meters. Its cruising speed is 75 km/h. They are equipped with EW protection and have Israeli optics and a thermal imaging camera. The three systems of such UAVs were transferred to the Ukrainian military in January.

The UAV is designed as a high-wing monocoque airframe with an electric motor and propeller, as well as four stationary mounted electric motors for vertical takeoff and landing.

A propulsion system of this type is used not only for takeoff, landing and hanging in the air, but also for emergency landing during flight, as opposed to using an emergency parachute.
