The Ukrainian military knocked out the Russian invaders from their positions right near the village of Kurdiumivka in Donetsk region.

The 3rd Separate Assault Brigade said that those positions had been occupied by the Russian 57th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of Russia.

The brigade also showcased the combat work of the soldiers of the 1st Company of the 1st Independent Motorized Infantry Battalion, who knocked the Russians out of their positions.

The released video portrays the battle, as well as neutralized and captured Russian soldiers.

The battle took place on June 24. According to Andriy Biletsky, the bridgehead of the invaders on the western bank of the Siverskyi Donets-Donbas channel was completely cleared.

“The soldiers of the 1st Independent Motorized Infantry Battalion of the 3rd Assault Brigade defeated the third battalion of the 57th Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Russian Federation. On their side, 30 killed, dozens wounded and dozens prisoners,” Biletskyi added.

The village of Kurdiumivka is part of the Bakhmut district and is located on the banks of the Siverskyi Donets-Donbas channel.

Also, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksii Reznikov, released a video showing the defeat of the invasion forces and said that the Russians had lost three tanks in the Kurdiumivka area in one day.

“We do not stray from our path. In just one day, our troops destroyed three Russian tanks on one section of the front in the Kurdiumivka area,” Oleksii Reznikov said.

Serhii Cherevaty, Spokesman for Ukraine’s Eastern Group of Forces, says that the Defense Forces of Ukraine are taking the initiative in the direction of Bakhmut and are continuing assault operations.

“From 600 to 1,000 meters were covered in a day on the southern and northern flanks around Bakhmut,” said Serhii Cherevaty.

As previously reported, the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces have recently knocked out the Russians from their positions in the Krasnohorivka area.
