During the Russian drone attacks on Ukraine, which took place between November 24 and 25, about 38 Shahed drones entered the airspace of Belarus.

The Belaruski Gayun monitoring group reported on this.

It is reported that such a number of drones in Belarusian airspace was a record for the entire period of observation.

At least one drone flew to Mozyr, there were dozens of passes through the “Belarusian corridor,” and at least three Shahed drones flew into the Gomel district, near the Nova Huta border crossing.

A Shahed drone, who flew from Prypiat to Belarus at 11:08 p.m., then went to Narovlya and reached the suburb of Mozyr by 00:05 a.m. Its further fate is unknown.

It is possible that it was shot down by the air defense forces of the Belarusian Armed Forces around 01:00 a.m.

Over the past day, the Belarusian Air Force’s regular aircraft took off and flew to the southeast of the country four times. At 3:20-4:30 p.m., 11:40 p.m. -01:30 a.m, 07:00-09:00 a.m. and 09:00-10:30 a.m.

Of the 38 recorded events, only nine were confirmed to have returned to Ukrainian airspace.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported that, according to its data, 71 UAVs had been lost in the area and one definitely had flown to Belarus.

It is worth noting that not all of the drones could have been carriers of combat units, but rather decoys.

Militarnyi previously reported that the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus had received the seventh battery of Russian Tor-M2K air defense systems.

The Commander of the Air Force and Air Defense Forces of Belarus, Major General Andrey Lukyanovich, said that the battery was intended to protect Minsk.

The Belaruski Gayun monitoring group suggests that this battery may be put into service with the 15th Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade.
