37th Brigade Marines Captured 10 Invaders While Clearing Ivanivka, Dnipropetrovsk Region

Soldiers of the 2nd Battalion of the 37th Separate Marine Brigade captured 10 invaders during the clearing of the village of Ivanivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

This was reported on the brigade’s official Facebook page.

The defenders also posted a video with the captured Russian invaders.

The Russian soldiers were discovered during search and strike operations in the village.

After storming the enemy’s hideout, ten Russians surrendered, and five more were killed in a firefight.

All the captured invaders served in the 228th Assault Regiment of the 90th Tank Division of the Russian Army.

Ukrainian marines noted that as of December 10, the settlement was controlled by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

At the same time, the approaches to it and the surrounding area are being held under fire control.

In late November, the soldiers of this brigade cleared Ivanivka of the invaders and captured 19 Russians who were fighting against Ukraine. Another 53 invaders were eliminated during the fighting.

It is worth noting that the Russian army continues to try to break through the Ukrainian defenses in this area.

On December 9, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, said that the invaders in the Pokrovsk sector continue to increase the number of their forces, which already number over 155,000 people.

This is about 20% of the total occupation army of the aggressor country involved in the fighting. Currently, it is about 710 thousand personnel.
