More than 1,500 Ukrainian-made Shrike FPV kamikaze drones will strengthen Ukrainian soldiers on the eastern section of the front.

This was announced on Saturday, October 28, by Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of Digital Transformation.

The drones have been sent to the fighters who defend the lines in the Donetsk direction.

Domestic FPV drones were purchased at the expense of the “Army of Drones” project.

It is noted that drones will help Ukrainian soldiers to maintain defense and effectively strike the positions and equipment of the Russian invaders.

Shrike kamikaze drones are produced by a Ukrainian defense-tech startup company for the needs of the Defense Forces.

“They cost only a few hundred dollars, but the results of their work are impressive. Shrike kamikaze drones are fast and easy to use, they accurately hit the target, striking the positions and equipment of the invaders,” the statement of the “Army of drones” project said.

The Deputy Prime Minister added that “each of the drones will help the fighters turn even more equipment of the invaders into scrap metal.”

Recently, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine reported on the transfer of a batch of 206 Heavy Shot heavy strike copters to the military.

These strike UAVs are produced by the Ukrainian company Gurzuf Defence. The copters can carry up to 30 kilograms of bomb load over a distance of up to 15 kilometers.

As for a drone, such a powerful bomb capacity and a long range make the Heavy Shot copter dangerous for infantry, command posts and lightly armored vehicles, both at the front line and in the rear of the enemy.

Also on October 17, Militarnyi reported that a large batch of drones were transferred to the Defense Forces of Ukraine as part of the “Army of Drones” project.
