Our mission is informational and other public support for strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities.

Objectively informing society about Ukraine's resistance to military aggression by the Russian Federation, processes and reforms in power structures and the defense-industrial complex.

Collection of information and its analysis on individual and systemic problems in the defense sector, search and proposal of ways to solve them, organization of public discussion.

Promotion of ideas and solutions that contribute to the strengthening of Ukraine's defense capabilities.

Story

Chronology of Militarnyi development

October 2008

The "Military" community emerged as a thematic group in social networks on October 14, 2008 after the acquaintance of the founders - Oleksandr Argat and Taras Chmut.

February 2009

On February 20, 2009, the first publication was published on the "Ukrainian Military Portal" website. Thematic news and articles were published on Militarny. The team created videos dedicated to power structures. The "Military" community was formed thanks to the thematic forum.

May 2014

After the start of the Russian invasion in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, "Military" turned into the "Military Aid" volunteer team. Thanks to this, the environment has grown significantly.

February 2017

In 2017, a public organization was created - "Ukrainian Military Center", which is a legal entity of "Military".

June 2018

Taras Chmut and Oleksandr Argat implement several television projects - "4-5-0" on Espresso and "Line of Defense" on Channel 5.

November 2019

Since 2019, "Military" begins to develop the direction of its own video content, "Military podcast" begins to be released.

October 2021

In 2021, the team will launch the English version of the portal.

Now

After a full-scale invasion, Military focuses on providing quality information to Ukrainian and global audiences about the course of hostilities, Ukraine’s security needs and capabilities, and military assistance from the Free World.

Co-founder of Military. Strategist of the communication agency plusone. In the past, he was the head of communications at Transparency International Ukraine (2017-2019). Deputy editor-in-chief of Espresso-TV (2016), journalist and presenter of Channel 5 (2006-2016). Member of the Plast scout organization since childhood (1996-2018).

Mykhailo Lyuksikov

Chief editor of the Ukrainian military portal, reserve junior sergeant (service in the marines in 2015-2016 in the 1st separate battalion of the marines)
