This morning, on July 31, powerful explosions blasted out in occupied Donetsk.

A video of the smoke in the city was posted on the Typical Donetsk Telegram channel.

The published photos show thick columns of smoke rising to the sky.

Russian air defense systems were also operating in the area.

The Telegram channel also published a photo showing a trace of an anti-aircraft missile.

It is noted that the explosions occurred in the Proletarsky district of the city.

Ukrainian blogger, political commentator, and journalist Denys Kazansky said that the invaders’ bases in the Proletarsky district of the city were struck.

In early July, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck an ammunition depot in occupied Donetsk.

The explosions took place in the Budyonnovsky district of the city.

In May, the Ukrainian military attacked a restaurant in Donetsk where the Russian invaders had gathered.

Ukrainian drones also frequently fly into Donetsk and conduct reconnaissance.

The Ukrainian city of Donetsk has been under Russian occupation since 2014.
