Early in the morning on Friday, June 28, the attack was announced by the governor of the region, Maxim Yegorov.
According to him, the drone allegedly hit an oil depot in the Michurinsky municipal district of the Tambov region at 4:35 am local time.
He noted that as a result, a “small fire” had broken out, which had quickly been localized with the involvement of 11 fire crews.
According to Yegorov, there were no casualties. If necessary, local residents will be evacuated.
“There are no casualties. The nearest settlement is 3 km away. If necessary, the residents will be evacuated. Everything is ready for this,” the governor added.

Earlier this week, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi said that Ukraine’s Security Service drones alone had hit more than 30 Russian oil refineries, terminals and oil depots.
The day before, drones attacked a Russian aviation fuel plant in the Tver region. The Redkino Experimental Plant in the town of Redkino was hit.

The second one was allegedly shot down by air defense forces, after which it also fell near the shop and exploded. The third drone attacked tanks with flammable liquid, damaging a pipeline and starting a fire.
