The State Special Transport Service has received a batch of armored off-road vehicles for the needs of the military.

The press service of the State Special Transport Service reported this on Tuesday, June 25, and published the photos of the vehicles.

Trasco Bremen has delivered nine new Toyota Land Cruiser 300 GXR vehicles with the support of the German government.

This German company is one of the world’s leading suppliers of armored vehicles.

The SUVs are to ensure the safety of Ukrainian soldiers.

In the near future, the vehicles will be used to support combat and special military missions directly in the war zone.

“I am pleased that the assistance of our company, with the support of the German government, will be useful for Ukraine, will help protect the territorial integrity of Ukraine, and bring the victory over the invader closer,” Serhii Lizun, CEO of Trasco Bremen, shared.

For his part, Brigadier General Oleksandr Yakovets, Head of the Administration of the State Transport Special Service, emphasized the importance of such assistance and thanked the international partners for the equipment provided and Trasco Bremen for its comprehensive support of the State Service of Ukraine and the German government for its continued support of Ukraine.

In February, the United States, together with Canada, provided Ukraine with special equipment for demining.

The aid worth $1 million was transferred to the State Transport Special Service of Ukraine.

Off-road vehicles were also donated in addition to the demining equipment, including metal detectors, protective equipment, and X-ray systems.

These are Toyota Hilux pickup trucks that are used to transport the relevant equipment and deliver sappers to the work sites.
