The city community of Lviv donated 1500 FPV drones to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine within the Lion’s Revenge initiative.

Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi reported this.

The drones are purchased on an initiative basis and with funds raised by the Lviv city community.

Sadovyi announced this procurement back in February 2014.

In February 2024, the city community of Lviv transferred 750 FPV drones to the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces.

Lviv’s city community also sends the defenders the necessary equipment used by soldiers on the front line.

First of all, this regards anti-drone rifles, Starlink terminals, thermal imagers, equipment, etc.

During the week of the meeting, the Lviv City Council managed to raise UAH 24 million, which will be used to purchase the necessary equipment for the military.

Militarnyi previously reported that in March, the city community of Lviv donated about 1700 FPV drones to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The transfer in the amount of 800 drones took place on March 25, 2024. The drones were transferred to various units of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces, which are defending Ukraine from Russian invaders.

Lviv City Council spent over UAH 14 million on their purchase.

Another transfer in the amount of 900 units took place on March 27, 2024. Previously, the military also received an RQ-35 Heidrun UAV consisting of three drones.
