MP Petro Poroshenko has transferred a new batch of FPV drones to the Ukrainian military.

The news was published on the European Solidarity website.

Poroshenko purchased 2,000 drones of various types worth over UAH 30 million for the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

“This is the fourth batch we will supply to the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The names are already familiar to many: Bandera-Boom, Pegasus, Molfar, Mammoth,” Petro Poroshenko reported.

He emphasized that some of the drones were fully equipped with additional equipment. In particular, in addition to the initiation boards, they will be equipped with a warhead.

“Some drones are supplied with a warhead. Of course, we install them together with the military, but we supply everything,” he said.

Previously, the politician noted that the Poroshenko Foundation would allocate $1 million a month to purchase drones for the military.

Ordered drones

Most of the drones mentioned above are carriers of light combat units, actively used to defeat infantry and armored vehicles on the front line.

However, the drones purchased also include a heavy-lift Mammoth FPV drone by Escadrone that can carry a warhead weighing up to 4 kg over long distances.

Due to its ability to carry a heavy load, it is actively used to destroy Russian fortifications.

The first mass-produced drones of this model were spotted in use by the Ukrainian military a few weeks ago on the left bank of the Kherson region, where they were attacking Russian troops near the village of Krynky.

In February of this year, Poroshenko transferred a batch of drones, which included 900 FPV drones and 100 other models, to the Ukrainian military.
