Russian invaders started to use the Garnat-KOBE drone munition against Ukrainian forces.

The invaders claim that this ammunition recently appeared at the front.

Drones equipped with this munition are designed to destroy armored vehicles and infantry.

Garnat-KOBE has a HE-Frag-Penetrating warhead. It was first presented only in 2023 at the Army-2023 exhibition.

FPV drones are weapons capable of maneuvering, flying into trenches and dugouts, and diving at any, even mobile, target.

The Russian industry has quickly mastered a completely new direction – the production of FPV attack drones with ammunition for them.

This new product was developed by the Russian Astron Design Bureau of the Schwabe holding.

Astron’s FPV drones are designed to carry different payloads. These can be PG-7 grenades from a hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher, as well as HEAT ammunition weighing 500 grams or more.

Combat drones can also be equipped with suspensions for a cassette of four HEAT ammunition.

At the same time, the developer notes that it has the ability to produce not only FPV drones but also special glasses for flight control, which previously had to be purchased abroad.

New ammunition for FPV drones is also being manufactured in Ukraine. Recently, Ukraine has developed a new EFP-S ammunition for FPV drones capable of penetrating armored vehicles.

In recent months, the Russian military began to hit FPV drones with new anti-personnel ammunition of the Shock Wave Dynamics family.
