The Project 205P Tarantul-class patrol boat sank in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol.
InformNapalm international intelligence community reported on this.
It is reported that on January 18, the Atesh movement published information about a possible flooding of the Tarantul-class patrol boat at coordinates 44.615763, 33.587110.
The Atesh movement declared it had been a Ukrainian ship captured by Russians.
InformNapalm clarifies that the ship could have been hit on December 29-30.
On December 29, around 12:00, local residents reported about loud explosions on social media, but occupation authorities of Sevastopol did not provide any official comments.
Locals reported that the sound of an explosion in the center of Sevastopol was so strong that windows shook.
It is known that Russians seized the Bukovyna ship of the Ukrainian Sea Guard in Crimea. It is worth noting that, at least officially, the Russian Black Sea Fleet and the Coast Guard of the Border Service of the FSB no longer use ships of this project.
Also, according to the coordinates provided, the ship was on the territory of the recycling facility in Inkerman.
Therefore, it is most likely that the Bukovyna ship could have sunk due to poor technical condition, lack of maintenance, or during disposal works.
In June, Militarnyi reported that Russia started to dispose illegally of ships of the Navy of Ukraine captured in Sevastopol and Donuzlav that, after 2014, were located on the territory of the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
Six captured ships of the Navy of Ukraine are located on the territory of the ship-scrapping berth in Inkerman, in the same place as the sunken 205P Tarantul-class patrol boat.
