Unknown persons attacked a car belonging to the Ministry of Defense of Russia in the Bryansk region.

Russian media sources reported that two Russian servicemen were killed in the attack.

Russian sources report that a drone was used to strike a Niva car.

“The drone attacked the Niva car of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, which was moving along the Brovnychy-Sushany road. Emergency services are working at the scene,” the report noted.

The car was attacked on the road in the Klimovsky district (about 750 meters from the border).

On the evening of May 27, Alexander Bogomaz, governor of the Bryansk region, denied the statements of Russian propagandists. In his Telegram channel, he claimed that Ukrainian saboteurs did not try to enter the region.

“This information is unreliable. There were no attempts of sabotage and reconnaissance groups to enter from the side of Ukraine,” the governor of the Bryansk region said.

However, a video later appeared on the First Division social media page, in which unknown people attack a car similar to a black Niva of the Russian military with rocket-propelled grenades.

“Soldiers of one of the Defense Forces special units open fire on enemy vehicles, probably the Niva car, in the Bryansk region,” the video caption reads.

Oleksandr “Fortuna”, Chief of Staff of the Russian Volunteer Corps, commented on the information received today about the situation in the Bryansk region and the blown-up vehicle of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

“Something is constantly exploding in the Bryansk region, they go somewhere and explode on their own mines, on someone else’s mines. I think that this shows the level of training of the border service, first of all,” he emphasized.

Oleksandr stated that the lock on the border of the Russian Federation is invisible: “The lock is only in the heads, and it exists in people’s thoughts.”
