Ukraine’s allies announced a new broad list of military assistance, with the goal of ending the war with Ukraine’s victory.
Representatives of Estonia, Great Britain, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Denmark, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, and Slovakia jointly supported the new assistance for Ukraine.
“We met today, January 19, to reaffirm our continued determination and determination to support Ukraine in its heroic resistance,” the statement said.
At the meeting, the Allies jointly condemned Russia’s attack and violation of Ukraine’s sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity.
The countries’ representatives noted that they would try to provide such weapons that would help knock out Russian forces from the territory of Ukraine and ensure victory in 2023.
“We recognize that arming Ukraine to force Russia out of its territory is as important as arming them to protect what they already have. At the same time, we will continue to support Ukraine in the transition from resistance to the expulsion of Russian troops from Ukrainian soil,” the statement reads.
The Allies pledged to collectively achieve the transfer of tanks, heavy artillery, air defense, ammunition and combat vehicles to Ukraine.
