The fire was extinguished with the help of about 10 fire engines. The Russians claim that no one was injured in the fire.
As previously reported, a large-scale fire was reported in the oil and gas condensate Markovskoye field in the Irkutsk region in Russia.
The condensate field is located 160 km southwest of the town of Kirensk, near the village of Verkhnemarkovo.
The fire has been classified with the third level of complexity, occurring in an area of approximately 1000 square meters.
The fire originated at a technological facility aimed at the complex preparation of natural gas.
Oil reserves stored there are estimated at 20 million tons. The field is owned by the Irkutsk Oil Company.
