Tahion is a small unmanned aerial vehicle with an electric engine, designed for aerial reconnaissance at a range of up to 40 km. It is used day and night, in various weather conditions for reconnaissance in the visible and infrared ranges or fire correction.

This drone can perform the function of a communication repeater.

Tahion is launched with a catapult, and lands with a parachute that opens automatically.

The unmanned system consists of two aircraft, a set of replaceable payload modules, a ground control station and a catapult.

The Takhion UAV has a wingspan of two meters and a maximum takeoff weight of 25 kilograms, of which 5 kg is a payload.

It reaches a speed of 65-120 km/h at a maximum altitude of 4000 km and a flight duration of 2 hours.

A drone for performing tasks can be equipped with various replaceable modules: with a thermal imaging camera, a color video camera on a gyro-stabilized rotary platform, a camera or a repeater.

Recently, the Ukrainian military in the Mykolayiv region shot down the Russian Shahed-136 kamikaze drone.

The Iranian-made drone, which the Russian invaders tried to use to defeat objects in Ukraine, was destroyed by fire with a 12.7mm heavy machine gun.
