Foresters from Poland handed over 16 off-road vehicles for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This was reported by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine.

The vehicles are intended for the transportation of personnel and small cargo to meet the needs of the Ukrainian defenders.

Off-road vehicles for the Armed Forces of Ukraine were provided by foresters from Tomaszów forestry.

These vehicles will meet the needs of Ukrainian soldiers in combat zones.

“16 pickup trucks for Ukrainian defenders were dispatched to the front line,” the report says.

The ministry noted that in total, Polish foresters have already handed over 38 off-road vehicles and thousands of ammunition to Ukrainian defenders.

The previous batch of 10 SUVs for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the Polish foresters was shipped back in May.

All-terrain vehicles for the military were handed over at the Ukrainian-Polish border.

Prior to that, the Polish foresters provided another 12 vehicles.

The Ukrainian forces had also received Polish-made DZIK armored vehicles.

DZIK are Polish-made multi-purpose infantry mobility vehicles manufactured by AMZ Kutno. Armored vehicles are intended for law enforcement units that patrol in dangerous areas. The lightly armored wheeled vehicle is equipped with a machine gun rack and smoke screen launchers. The cabin is designed for the transportation of six servicemen.
