The downed Russian Mi-28N was identified in the Kharkiv region

The wreckage of a downed Russian military helicopter was found in the Kharkiv region.

The air defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit the Russian Mi-28N.

Photos with the destroyed aircraft were published by the National Guard of Ukraine.

It is reported that it was shot down with a portable anti-aircraft missile system.

The Mi-28H helicopter shot down by the National Guard probably crashed near the settlement of Elite, not far from Kharkiv.

The Russian attack helicopter had the registration number RF-13628.

The exact date of the elimination of the Russian helicopter is not reported.

Mi-28N is a modified Mi-28 helicopter.

The modified aircraft was supposed to retain all the qualities of the Mi-28 and also meet the specifics of the ground forces: to operate not only during the day but also at night.

Also in any weather, to have a high level of autonomy and be fairly easy to operate and repair.

This is not the first case of hitting a Russian helicopter of this type.
