The following words were voiced in the official statement by the US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.

“Today, I can announce that, based on information currently available, the U.S. government assesses that members of russia’s forces have committed war crimes in Ukraine.” – said United States Secretary of State.

Blinken stressed that this position is based on a careful review of available information from official and intelligence sources.

The Secretary of State also stressed that the US government will continue to track all reports of russian war crimes and, if necessary, share the information gathered with allies, partners, and international institutions and organizations.

A verified video from a drone shows the russian military shooting an unarmed civilian on a highway near Kyiv.
