Ukrainian forces dropped explosives on the Russian equipment from the UAV

The Defense Forces of Ukraine dropped explosives on the armored vehicles of the Russian military.

Ukrainian units are re-equipping drones and using them for strikes.

Also, the aviation ammunition, in particular VOG-17 or RKG-3 grenades, are adapted to be used with such drones.

The Ukrainian combat unit “Aerorozvidka” (Aerointelligence – ed.) demonstrated the use of such modified drones against the Russians.

It is worth noting that the first two modified ammunition that were dropped did not explode and only the third attempt was the one able to damage the Russian BMP-2.

The unit mentioned that R18 octocopters were the ones working on the video and destroying enemy armored vehicles.

Probably, these are the special helicopters of the unit, which could be equipped with several explosive devices for dropping.

Soldiers of the 93rd Separate “Kholodnyi Yar” Mechanized Brigade have also demonstrated their work with the modified drones.

In the video, the fighters dropped a modified unguided munition, similar to an RKG, onto a Russian T-72B3 tank.

After the hit, the Russian tankers quickly began to leave their fighting vehicle.

Allegedly, the Ukrainian ammunition managed to neutralize the Russian tank from the first hit.
