The Ukrainian representative office of Tekever company has announced plans to engage local startups in joint work on drone technology.
Kateryna Bezsudna, executive director of Tekever’s Ukrainian branch, told Militarnyi in an interview on the sidelines of Defense Tech Valley 2025.
The company plans to involve at least three Ukrainian partners in joint projects in the field of drones. The goal is to combine the technological capabilities of an international corporation and the engineering potential of Ukrainian developers.
Tekever is a leading European developer of unmanned aerial systems with a representative office in Ukraine. The company actively cooperates with the Ukrainian military and has experience in adapting its equipment to war conditions.
“We are in favor of Ukrainian startups being able to integrate with international drones and join the creation of innovative solutions,” noted Bezsudna.
The AR3 drone, created by Tekever, has been performing reconnaissance combat missions in Donbas and southern Ukraine for more than 2,5 years. The drone helps the Armed Forces of Ukraine detect enemy targets and adjust strikes.
Tekever has an operational team in Ukraine that is responsible for user support, equipment repair, spare parts storage, and fast logistics. This structure ensures continuous operation of the systems at the front. In the future, the company plans to open an R&D center in Ukraine to develop new drone models in cooperation with local startups. This should be a step towards deeper integration of Ukrainian technologies into the European defense ecosystem.
